Apple today showcased its new store on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, a new retail destination with a distinctive view in the middle of the prestigious financial district in Abu Dhabi, becoming one of the company’s largest shopping destinations in the region.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the opening of our amazing Apple Store on Al Maryah Island on Friday,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and retail. “Our distinguished team is ready to welcome local customers to our newest location in the UAE,” she added.
The new store has a team of over 80 members who come from diverse cultures from 28 different nationalities and collectively speak more than 30 languages, including Arabic, French, Hindi, Tagalog, and more. So that they can serve a cross-cultural audience and introduce them to what the company has to offer such as a replacement program, or receive advice and support from the experts at Genius Grove.
The store will welcome its first visitors on Friday, February 25 at 5 pm local time, and the store will implement comprehensive health measures, while visits on opening day will be by appointment only.
